Every Porttera app is a Shopify theme app extension. That means it installs as a block
you place in the theme editor, not as code pasted into your theme.liquid.
Install from the App Store
Add the app from the Shopify App Store. It requests only the access it needs to run.
Open the theme editor
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Add the block
On the relevant template (product, cart, etc.), click Add block and choose the
Porttera app block. Drag it where you want it.
Save
Save the theme. The block is live.
Removing an app
Remove the block
In the theme editor, delete the app’s block from your templates.
Uninstall
Uninstall the app from Settings → Apps and sales channels.
Because nothing is injected into your theme, uninstalling leaves no leftover code behind.
Works on any Online Store 2.0 theme. Switching themes? Re-add the block on the new
theme — your settings stay with the app.
